Steve Madden Knock-Offs

Apparently, instead of Steve Madden stealing from couture designers (Balenciaga, Dior, Louboutin), Forever 21 is stealing from them this time! I guess that's just bad karma. But maybe I'm wrong, did Steve Madden steal this design from somewhere else, or is this for once an original Madden design?
